Greetings:

My Server Box is as follows: PIII 866 - Asus CUSL2C - Crucial 256 SDRAM - SIS Trio Video Card - Linksys Gb NIC - 2x80GB Segates | 200GB WD SE | 200GB Seagate (Total Useable HD Space = 280GB)

The server is connected to my Linksys Gigabit Switch.

When the server is uploading a large amount of files (for example, HL2 steam apps folder) it seems to be freezing. No blue screen or anything, but it just freezes. I check the event viewer after I reboot, but there are no errors (the only one is that it says the server shutdown was unexpected).

What could I do to determine the problem?
Will purchasing another stick of 256 MB SDRAM help?

AAAH CUSL2 :)

try putting the network card in PCI slot 1 or 5. and nothing in the other one. do you have any other PCI cards in there?

okay, i'll crack it open and check it out after i come back from work.. right now, i only have 2 pci cards, which are the nic and the video card.

ok, well put the video card in slot 3, and the NIC in 1 or 5

slots are numbered from closest to CPU to edge of board.
