Destiny 2 Clan (PC)

I'm still trying to decide on whether or not to buy the game. If I do, then I'll join up!
 
I see there is currently no "Clan Chat" option in the game - but something they are supposedly working on. Is there any 'calendar of events' for the Clan? I mean I logged in and saw about 5 peeps from the Clan on. Just wondering if any Strikes/Raids are planned I might be missing out on? - Thanks!
