I am building my own computer within the week, and i need to know what the best way is for me to get a solid and fast wireless connection through another router. I have looked into PCI cards, but most if not all of them seem to have a host of troubles associated with them, and many report a loss of speed when using them as opposed to using a router in wireless bridge mode or using an access point/bridge combo.
Should I pay the 60$ more and go with an access point and hook up my motherboard to that using ethernet, or will a generic pci card suffice for my needs? If the second one is my best bet, i would love to have a link to a review site where I can find a pci adapter that supports wireless n that isn't a huge hassle to deal with.
If the firmer, what are some good AP/Bridges to look into? I'd be willing to sacrifice wireless N to have something that is less than 100$, but n is definately a plus. I'm having trouble deciding if there is a low cost solution for my problems.
If it's any help, this is my mobo: http://www.evga.com/products/moreinfo.asp?pn=132-LF-E657-KR&pwindow=specs&family=Motherboard Family
I am EXTREMELY
as to how to get this thing on the internet, and would love your guys' help.
