desktop speaker selection

I'm currently using the Logitech Z-5500's. They are OK for what they are, but I am wanting to upgrade.

My future plans are to move my current Onkyo AVR to my desktop. That likely won't happen until summer or more likely next Christmas. Until then, I was hoping to simply replace the current Logitech front speakers with something better. I was looking at a pair of Polks ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882290201 ), but I'm not sure about the size (ie: physical size). So I'm looking for something decent in a smaller package. Any suggestions?

Thanks

i don't have any experience with the others listed

I have a pair of monitor 30s and i think they are pretty awesome for the $70~ i got them for

I am using a pair of Polk T15s i got at bb for $50~ a pair with a t-amp (SMSL SA-S3) for my computer speakers it is pretty sweet

you might want to consider a t-amp if you want to save some space

If you are on a smaller budget, there is the JBL Control 1 Pro.

It is about the same size as the SuperZero listed above, but for half the price for a pair. I have them and they are great little speakers for how much I paid. I am not sure if it is an Amazon pricing error, but it is showing up as double the price everywhere else. In any case, I would not go much smaller than this size, especially if you are going for a 2.0 setup. Good luck!
