When I go to buy video games, I check the minimum system requirements on the side of the box to determine if my system will run it. Unfortunately it appears that the specs refer to desktop level processors (such as 2.0+ GHz Single Core Processor).
I have a laptop with an Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 (2.8GHz/800MHz FSB, 4MB cache) in it. How do I figure out the desktop equivalent? Can I make a one-to-one comparison?
In other words, can I look at the above example and say, "Oh. I can buy that game because it requires at least 2GHz, and I have 2.8GHz"?
Thanks.
