Desktop Pixel Flicker with 4850

I just setup the computer in my sig last night and on the desktop there are weird pixel flashes at a ton of spots. When I ran crysis for over 20 minutes, I had none of these flickers. I will run Driver Cleaner tonight but I was wondering what other suggestions you guys had. I'm running XP SP3 with CC 8.7
 
Check temps, modify fan profiles, then lastly try Vista.

I had problems with XP and Windowblinds on my Rad2k, so it might be the same thing too.
 
The temperatures seemed fine for everything and Vista is not an option. I'm going to try Driver Cleaner tonight and if that does not work I'll try my older card.

The weird thing is I noticed it slightly when I first booted into Windows after install before installing any drivers. I used a slipstreamed disk of XP with SP3.

EDIT: Would it help if I installed the drivers for my monitor from viewsonic?
 
It turns out I just had to move the DVI cable to the other port towards the front.
