my backup computer (desktop) has a little problem, you see everytime I push the button to turn it on it freezes and starts going *beep *beep *beep *beep nonstop and I just have push the button again to just turn it off, any idea wtf is wrong w/the shit?

Those beeps are probably POST Codes. They behave similar to morse code, using a combination of short and long beeps. Write them down and then identify your motherboards Model. Go to the website of your motherboard manufacturer and search for the post code's. This will tell you what the code / problem is. Once you have this info post what you found out and the people here can help you better.

Also, your system specs would be helpful.

If you are having a hard time locating the post codes post your motherboard brand and model. Someone here is sure to be able to help.

That is fine. I *Think* that is still a post code and i *Think* it is a sign of a memory problem. My above suggestion still is valid. Go to the mobos website and look it up. If you dont know how to do that please post your system specs here and someone can probably help.
 
Its either memory or video card. My other comp had the non stop beeps and it was video card....cept when i got my shuttle...the card worked. So try switching out memory, reseating the mem and vid card or switching out the vid card.
 
Could be the CPU overheat alarm.
Which bios have you on what board ?
Find out and then look it up.

It's memory, I delt with that all summer at work. Dusty computers, dust blockes a few contacts between the socket and memory stick. Re-seat the memory, and you may want to blow out the memory sockets.
 
ok i'm back, it turns out that I had a bunch of stuff pressing the keys on the keyboard and so thats what it was... :D cleared the keyboard and woala! thnx anyways guys.
