I have a house warming today sunday and I need a program that's like pandora but without me having to open up the browser and completely FREE lol

havent tried it, but there is a pandora desktop app for pandora one subscribers. its $36 for a year subscription. not sure how it works or if its what youre looking for, but you might wanna look into it.

I only need it for one day and there's no free trial. It doesn't have to be Pandora base just similar in music streaming but a program.

yeah i dont know of anything else other than using your own music on shuffle. why cant it be browser-based?

It can be I just figured it would be better to use a program because there will be no ads or commercials like Pandora has.

ah gotcha. well you can try to find someone whos coming that has a pandora one sub, or you can try another site like songza that doesnt have ads.

OR just spend the $36 for a year of no commercials and the app for pandora.

Seems like the most logical answer, or find a playlist on youtube of music videos that you like. The only other option would be internet radio but I assume that has ads as well.

Just about anything free is going to have commercials.... that's how they make it free.

Probably a little too late now heh, but Jango is way better, commercial free, and has both desktop & mobile apps. I tend to run into a lot more "good" undiscovered music with it as well.

Doesn't spotify have a free trial for it's ad free service? Does pandora?

does no one use winamp anymore? That's my suggestion. Search for a specific station / genre and leave it on all day.

That's what I do. Some streams have commercials tho if you don't mind.
