Just load another color scheme (you can change back again when you are finished) and it should work out (has happened to me too).

he says it just changes the backround not the task bar

I had this same problem when I uninstalled windowblinds before forgetting to change the color scheme back to standard. If I remember correctly, I logged in under safe mode (which is was still black then.) just tried to hit the right color scheme...sounds kind of funny but it worked. (yes, I was freaking out the whole time.)

Right click, imagine where properties is. Try to find that tab for appearance and well, basically, hope you hit the right bar. I honestly just kept messing with it until I stumbled back on the windows standard setting. hehe. Kind of funny now that I think about it.

i told him everything what to do i told him to right click on the desktop hit the down arrow 7 times and hit enter then click and hold the down arrow (make the theme go all the way to the bottom) and then the up arrow 2 times (goes to the windows default) and hit enter.

he says it just changes the backround.

he told me hes gunna try and uninstall style xp.

Wow style XP did that tto me because of a corrupt Theme, i uninstalled and it worked, but! when i renistall (yes dumbass) power outtage occured and what do you know but this time it really F*%Ked it..

ended up System Restoring and Installing Windows blinds... :) dont know if this helps but my 2 cents :-P

i told him to uninstall and he said he cant because its all black

Sorry for the late reply, but try this if he still working on it.

right click, hit down 7 times, press enter.

Hit tab 4 times. Press the right arrow 3 times.

Press tab once.

Press the right arrow key as far as it'll go, hit it like 20 times or so.

Hit tab 4 times.

Press enter.

Hope this helps.
