Not sure where to put this but here it is. I'm planning to get a new desk. I'm planning on putting it between my bed and wall.
There is 62" between my wall and bed. I'm deciding between the 24" and the 30" depth. Will 32" be enough room for a chair or will I have to downsize and go for the 24"?
I don't have a desk / office chair in the house to use for reference at the moment.

Any advice will be appreciated. ;)

if you're putting LCDs on it, two feet deep is more than enough to leave you workspace for writing/eating/whatever as long as you don't moving the keyboard aside when you need to do that (and at 72" wide, I doubt thats a problem), if you're putting CRTs on it, well, 24" will barely fit the monitors

based on that, I'd go for the 24" desk, yeah it might be a bit cramped, but it leaves more space in the room, even if the chair fits standing up, you probably want to recline, right?

have some fun in google sketchup to help you see what it would look like. ;)
