How near in the future? Do you have any idea of what you want now?
I ask because every few months we see a thread similar to yours. But rather than hear everyone else's tales of excess, why don't you tell us yours?

Well...regarding time it would be a build within the next 2-2.5 months. There are a ton of new games coming out in the next few months and i want a machine that can handle most games at max settings. Looks are very important, bu so is functionality. I don't know the specific parts list, this is just a rough outline, any other suggestions/ thoughts would be great. Budget would be <5k.

My dream machine would cost more than $5k. 
My "dream" monitors alone would eat your $5,000 budget as a snack.
The main problem that I see with most dream lists is that one person's dream becomes another one's nightmare. There are a million ways to flesh out your rough outline, but if you reject every one, then what's the point?
I have some questions for you:
-- What games do you want to play on this machine?
-- At what resolution? Do you want to play on multiple monitors (simultaneously)?
-- Outside of gaming, what would you use this system for?
-- Are you ready to build now (rather than two months from now)?
-- Since you're all into looks, what case do you have in mind?
-- How long do you want this system to last?
-- Are there any special "needs" you have for this system?

My ultimate system, while I'm not going to list specs I'm gonna just list what it will do.
Play all the games I play regularly, on three 1080P displays with ease.
Be able to crunch numbers faster than my previous system. (Think F@H)
Be able to encode video faster than previous system. (Premier)
Be able to modify/alter multiple images faster than previous system. (Using batch jobs/image process in Photoshop)

My gaming dream box would require a man cave to house it.
3 x 1080p projectors on a curved screen. Racing chair. As near to silent rig as could be achieved. 7.1 surround built into the room. Which also just happens to be engineered to focus the sounds on the gamer position.
