Hey guys, my uncle is a dentist and just opened a shop in Spain. He is looking for a database type program that can organize patients, his appointments, and a bunch of other shit. Basically, he needs an intuitive well designed yet stable interface for databasing patients in his office. Preferably something thats in spanish, but english is fine as well. Hes also looking for the cheapest way to accomplish this. It also preferably needs to have some type of backup feature where he can transfer all of his data to an external hard disk.

Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions? Anything that can be had for free or close to nothing? Any trials?

Thanks a bunch

Dentrix rocks.

http://www.dentrix.com/

Have supported an office for years that used it, works well.

my father-in-law used to work for a small tech company called Syscon in Tuscaloosa, AL. They provided Dentrix for nearly every dentist in central Alabama, so I'm going to assume it's a pretty good package.
