hey editors, can we in the future get a review of dell's new liquid cooled pc? it just came out like a week ago and i read it on the front of business page so i was very curious.

supposedly they developed their own liquid/air cooling system and it sounds like something really interesting for [H} to do a review on considering they are the first major oem distributor to introduce a liquid cooled pc for mass distribution?. that is all =p

that sounds interesting but starting at $5000 that's just overkill!!!

I wouldn't say it's overkill....it has Quad core OC'd---dual 8800GTX's---liquid cooling---20" monitor---dual 10,000rpm drives---4GB ram Wouldn't call that a real pricey beast in comparison to some boutique computers.

No comment :).

having fun Jason? :p damnit... now im anxious... its definetly not worth the money for someone like me, who likes getting their hands dirty, but i know people, who could use something a little more nooby happy :p although im not sure if its a 100% closed loop.... might need refilling

I have a feeling the guys @[H] would just love to get their hands on it so my guess is that we will see a review of it in the coming months.

hes got it already :p no comment my ass... that, or its on the way :p

I don't usually want to comment on competitors, but I do know for sure that CoolIT played a part in it, and the units I saw at CES all also had radiators, but in not where I'd have put it. We've used CoolIT for about a year, and they make good stuff. The plastic shroud is mysterious, but no magic under the hood. Nuff said, and only commenting because I've seen it. Obviously, I can't comment on performance, but probably helps.

it still rediculously priced compared to a comparable VM build (with a freezone or whatever you offer right now :p ) and doesnt have you trowling the boards for support along with Heather (Too bad Chris is gone :( Maybe you should talk ot kyle about that :( )
