This comes with a 425W power supply and who knows what kind of motherboard. How big of a performance difference might this make to someone who doesn't want to overclock and doesn't feel like reasearching components and putting something together (or buying/pirating vista seperately either).

Thanks

Edit: Im considering customizing it with the 6600Q, 8800GT, and 3GB DDR2 667MHz

what u mean difference in performance? like between oc and non oc? well that depends on how much u oc. i have a 420 myself but with the hd2400 pro vga cause they didnt offer the 8800gt in the basic 899 setup when i ordered mine. they underatted their psu btw. u can run a gtx on a 375w according to many ppl. 3gb and q6600 should be plentiful for any normal person imo. 8800gt vga should last u for quite awhile. its a high performance card right now for a decent price. the mobo is a x38 bearlake chipset. it ahs only 1 pcix16 slot so no sli. being x38 chipset it has pciexpress 2.0 for new cards but also has bawards capabilities for present cards. theres not much a difference in speeds between 1.1 and 2.0 right now because 2.0 is farely new.
