Im having a delima. I really want the 2407 but its very expensive and I like the 2007 with its sale price and my 35 off right now. Im just curious as how my 360 will look on this monitor. I play minimal pc games but the 360 will be used on this monitor all the time and be used to watch dvds and a pc tv tuner card. I dont wanna buy the 2007 and be like man I wish I bought the 2407.

What do you guys think?

An extra 500 is quiet a bit of cash
 
Also my video card doesnt have 1680x1050 like the 2007 supports but I do have the max resolution for the 2407. Someone help me figure out which one I should get.
 
it'll look good no doubt. but it will stretch a bit

u might have borders or a stretch, but all in all.. you'll be lookin at the same screen all the time, and with nothing to compare it to. so even if it looks slightly tweaked you wont noticed unless a side by side comparison
 
Can someone with the 2007WFP please get a couple of shots of there 360 running on it!?
 
I have the 2005fpw, and 360 is awesome on it, if you set it to 1280 x 768, and put your monitor on aspect, it will look awesome. I am confused by your video card, it can run a 2407fpw but not a 2007fpw? Did you mean the other way around? If it supports the 2407fpw, it will support the 2007fpw. Id go with the 2007fpw if I were you, because its cheaper and theres and your video card if it is older will be able to handle it better.

u can get a 7300 or a 6200 or anything for dirt cheap and they will support 1680x1050

Does it look huge at 1280 x 768? I just want some high detail and donna wanna feel like the picture is cramped.
 
The picture isnt cramped at all, I really like it on this monitor because your gui (your radar, health, stuff like that) are off to the side and theres tons uncrowded space for you to see whats going on in the game. I dont have a digital camera so I cant really take any pics.
 
ya i play ghost recon and i was wondering how it looks wiht the radar and ammo stuff plus playable area on the screen.
