I received the new U2717D today and am somewhat disappointed. As far as build quality and calibration, it's beautiful, and the sRGB mode seems to be perfect.

However, there is a vignetting effect around the screen causing shadows due to the gap between panel and screen. There is also a gap on my U2515H, but I've never seen this vignetting effect. Maybe the gap is bigger on the U2717D.

Also, the backlight bleed is very bad. It's very distracting in games and videos, especially at the bottom left corner.

I had to return two DELL UP2716D to amazon due to heavy bleed like that. In the end I asked for a refund and went for another monitor.
