Dell U2311 buying help

Hello guys, I am gonna order Dell U2311H and I have asked the shopkeeper about it's Revision so he said that he doesn't know about it's revision but he said that there is a manufactured date written on the box which is September 2010 so does it mean that it's Rev. A01 as u guy said in many forums that Rev. A01 is gonna out this july?

Could u plz tell me and help me in this as u have any knowledge regarding it?

You could get either revision right now, although odds are its going to be an A01.

He means it is luck of the draw. You might get an A00 or you might get an A01. There is a sticker on the outside of the box which says which one it is.

Are u sure that there will be a sticker outside of the box? coz when i hve asked my dealer so he said that there is nothing written on the box about revision

Tell him to look on the box for either A00 or A01. It may not actually have the word "revision" on it.

Mine definitely had "Rev A00", along with the serial number and made in China outside of the box. No manufacture date though.

ok thank you guys, I have confirmed with the shopkeeper and he said that he has Rev A00
