I use my monitor for light gaming (I need to upgrade the dinosaur in my sig but I will game in the future), but mostly web browsing.

Dell has it on sale for $199 again. I think I have to jump on it. My loyal L90D+ has been half dead for almost a year.

2048 x 1152 resolution seems like I will love the extra pixel real estate w/p having to buy a larger size monitor. 2ms (I assume g2g) response time so it will be good for gaming.

Will I find anything better in this price range or should I jump. It is right at the maximum of what I want to spend.

Thanks

I have this; it's really glossy. I dont personally like it; I'd get one of the ASUS TNs for that price range.

It is very glossy, but in my office conditions, which is a dimmer room, it works very well for me.
You may find it distracting if you have a lot of lighting in your room.
I may just have to pick up a second one.

I just got the P2311h for $229. I pretty much just play warcraft on it and use it for web, video, etc.. I almost got the model you are looking at but saw I can take the P2311 into Portrait view, which if you love to read on your computer, is an experience you will get addicted to. Just thought I would throw that bit in... oh and its LED backlit if you like to think "Green."
