Omg. (Roflcopter)... I just ordered the 2405fpw last night... around 5:30pm.

DHL has already picked up the monitor, and it's out for delivery!

I should have my baby by tonight! That's fast shipping!!

Yep. I'm in Texas... Waco, to be exact... and yes... I'm typing this on my brand new 2405. :)

It's hella huge. Especially coming from a 15"lcd. lol. I'm so happy. No dead pixels or anything.

How am I to test for backlight bleeding? Just put a black picture full screen? (Powerpoint?)

Blah I keep waiting for an ubber deal to hit. I can get it for 939$ shipped tax included. And then with my company added PC program I get a further 20% of that. That takes me to about 740 ish. And I know that is an awsome deal. But the fact it was taking 10 days or so to arrive I keep telling myself it would take a while anyway. But now you get yours that fast and I could have had it this weekend.

Oh well gratz, how you liking it?

Download Dead Pixel Buddy. Wait until night time, turn all the lights off in your computer area. Run DPB and set it to the black screen. Sit about 5 feet back from your screen. Give your eyes a couple minutes to adjust to the darkness and then carefully examine the screen. If you see any light blotches, you have backlight bleed. My new 2405 has too much of it so I'm calling Dell Monday morning for a replacement to be sent out.

I paid $900 total to get it to the door. Not the greatest deal ever, but it's a great monitor. I've been playing WoW on it all weekend. Lovin' it. It's amazing.

Plus... it got to my door in under 24hrs from when I got off the phone with the rep! Amazing.

I ordered friday about lunch time. And when I checked it later on friday nite it was already on the way. With my company PC program it will be 730ish to the door. Not what I wsa wanting but still pretty good.

Who does dell use for shipping?
