The Washington Post says that Michael Dell is reprising his role as CEO after a string of disappointing earnings and slipping market share.

In the biggest executive shake-up yet after a string of disappointing earnings, eroding market share and an ongoing federal accounting probe, Michael Dell has returned to his role as chief executive officer of Dell Inc. _ the company he created in his college dorm room nearly 15 years ago.

on bloomberg last night they were talking about how this may not change anything other than the outlook for investors, because dell and the former ceo, always worked together on decisions.

there stock just keeps goin lower.
 
Yeah, they are not doing so well, they saturated the market with dirt cheap PC's and cheap outsourced tech support... what did they expect would happen?
