Dell R720 / PERC H310 question

I have a Dell R720 with 8x 2.5" drives on a PERC H310 (6 Gbps SAS controller). It has 2x mini-SFF8087 that connects to the back-plane. So question:

Does this mean I have 2x 6 Gbps bandwidth available (if I use RAID)? I assume 0-3 is channel 0 and 4-7 is channel 1 of the SAS controller.

I skimmed the R720 user manual and Technical Guide and didn't find the answer I'm looking for.
