Is there anything in the dell setup that keeps me from using a ghosted image in a new dell computer?
I have a hard drive that boots in a few different machines, with a stable and clean image for WinXP Pro and SP2. In all the machines other than the new Dell Dimension 3000s, it will boot and get me to the winxp start screen. On the 3 dell machines, all we get is a blinking cursor.
A boot floppy wont even detect the hard drive at all. Is there a special BIOS setting or something of that nature that needs to be run?
(Note, we do not want to use the Dell image, just our own image with all of our settings and programs installed)
Thanks,
Bryan
