I own 2 CRT monitors and soon to be a third, as I recently purchased an SGI/Sony 24" FW900 off ebay au.

my Dell P992 (Sony G420?) has been serving me well for the past 2 1/2 years (could probably use a calibration but the settings I'm using are fine (having to use 11K color because 6500 is way too blue)

earlier this year I bought a Dell P1230 (2070SB rebadge) off ebay and I've never been able to set it up right, I had to buy a filtered VGA cable to fix a ghosting issue, now I've noticed that the top of the screen has a convergence imbalance compared to the rest of the screen, I used the Nokia Monitor test to get the rest of the screen as perfect as I could but the top is misaligned and I noticed that the Monitor OSD only has two convergence settings, compared to the P992's four.

Is there some kind of Service Mode on this monitor? or some way I could hack into the top convergence setting?
 
Yes, WinDAS is for Trinitron & worth getting for your FW900. Not sure what you can do for a Diamondtron
