To be honest many people dont like Dell that much and they are also overpriced.

I'm also looking for a new monitor for some photoshop stuff and some gaming and i found that Samsung 2370 series are great for that!!! (P2370 is great in terms of response and colors and its cheap)

Whats your budget? And what do you really want?

Hmm, I like Dell monitor.

Many people here (including yours truly) love their Dell monitors.

they look nice, thats why im looking into them. I see them in the lcd display thread, and it just seems so perfect. I just wanted to know how they performed.

I've got 3 S-IPS Dell 2007's I really like; but when it comes to Dell you HAVE to do your homework on the specific model. They'll release multiple panel types under the same model number, and their first revisions have had some huge issues in the past.

I know when I got my first 2007, it was a PVA and had a really bad banding issue. It took me 3-4 exchanges to get all 3 S-IPS with no problems (even going through a business rep).
