Has anyone who had to return a dell lcd been able to find what they call "Service Tag"?

I cannot find the darn thing, and these morrons won't service me till I find it. :(

They say it is a 5-7 alpha numeric tag.
I can find the serial and other meaningless numbers, but not that Service Tag thing.

I have 2 2001fp to replace and I think they are intentionally giving me the round around.

If anyone could post a pic of the Service Tag on their lcd that would be perfect.

Thanks!

Its a small sticker with www.dell.com followed by the service tag number then the express service code. Usually right above your MFG serial number

I had the same problem with these assholes. THEY ARE GIVING YOU THE RUN AROUND. They really enjoy screwing with with you and teach their non-English speaking techs how to optimally piss you off. My 2005FPW only had the number 0T6130 on the back on a white tag and each time I called them or tried to email they rejected it as an invalid tag. I think the only way you get a service tag is if you buy a full system. AFAIK the tag is on the back of the case.

Since all you have is monitors, you're screwed and will need to spend multiple hours on the phone with them because you are not allowed to email or get preferential service without a service tag.

This happened too many times to me, so due to this and the fact that Dell could not provide me a NEW, 100% functional 2005FPW (in 4 tries) I got a refund.
