Heh, I feel that -- my 2005FPW has half a centimeter of clearance between the top of the monitor and the top of the desk.

But oh do I luff that monitor . . . it's sitting in between my two 172x's, and I . . .

They all worked for me on the 2005fpw... i've been waiting for a deal on that... although it's not the best one it's good enough for me :)
 
The best I can get is $464 can anyone get anything bellow this price?

Lower. Like $350ish low. But I doubt we will get that once more.
 
Anyone ordering one? I know the price is better than usual but I keep thinking when they were in the 350's now. How good of a deal is this and anyone think this monitor will go lower?
 
Wait for the better stackables. I got mine 6 months after the mythical $360 run, for $397. That was only about 2 months ago. They cycle those coupons on a quasi-regualr basis. If you need it now $460 is good for this monitor (were talking about the 2005fpw right?) but right around $400 will come back within the month of July.

I'm willing to bet on it. And by bet I mean get your girlfriends pregnant. :confused:

Can I do better on the 17"? Or is this a really good deal. Im thinking about Dell Back to school days or whatever......what do you guys think?
 
tempting... but I'm going to hold out for the 2405 to come down in price. $900 is too big of a pill to swallow.

They need something in the middle. Like a 22" thats reasonable priced.

Me too. I almost went for the $840 deal a few days ago, but restrained myself. I'll be happy if I can pick it up for under $800 shipped. Until then, I'm getting by alright.
 
Arrggh. I went to pull the trigger on a 2005fpw, and for some reason they want to charge me tax for being in Oklahoma. Thats just gay. Cost them a sale.

If Dell has a business space based out of Oaklahoma - they have to - by law - charge any applicable taxes. There's no avoiding it.
 
For those that ordered the 17", when is it showing you that it will ship? Mine is showing July 21-28. Seems like a long time to me.

I ordered a 17inch from dell around June 25th and it said it would ship july1st or so.. it only took 3-4 days though.

Yep same here. Especially as one can gte a 2001fp for such a good price, and its not a hugely different enough to justify the price difference imho.
Im sure itll come down soon enough :) ... then buy buy buy

Hmmm..i got mine in 1 day..i ordered on 30th june got it on 1st..

where do you live..seems since i am in Dallas, Disto center is local to me..
