Hi folks,

I have a Dell Inspiron 5160 laptop with SXGA+ screen, but whenever I set the resolution to 1400x1050 the fonts go messed up, like some lines are missing from them.

Here is an example of what I mean:

There is also a larger version here: http://www.farrand.plus.com/5160LCD1.jpg

I've tried reformatting and reinstalling the latest nVidia GeForce FX 5200 Go drivers, but it is still the same. The fonts look fine at 1024x768, albeit a bit fuzzy due to the scaling.

I've also tried messing with the DPI settings to no avail.

Anyone had this issue before, and if so how did you go about fixing it?

Thanks,

Lee

I had a problem when i updated the driver on my 5160, only I have the volari xp5 video.
I had to upgrade the laptop bios to get it working correctly.

That would be my first thing to try.
