I'm thinking about building a new computer. I have a Dell Dimension 8200. I'm wondernig if I can pull out the RAM, PSU, and HDS and stick em into my new computer. Will it work? I know the motherboard won't fit.
 
PSU: No, DELL uses there own special PSUs that are not compatible with non DELL's
RAM: Most likely, but it will almost certainly be garbage ram.
HD: I dont see why not.
 
The only proprietary parts Dell uses to my knowledge are the rewired PSU and the rewired motherboard.

The RAM is regular old RAM, probably Samsung RAM, the hard drives are IDE, as are the opticals. The video card (if you have one) is an AGP one (OEM version).

So yes.
