A little inside information let me know today Dell will be dropping a QX6700 in the new XPS 710 no pricing information as of yet but be ready on the Nov 14 :D.
 
Not sure when you will be able to actually purchase the processors by themselves. Just someone higher up the food chain in Dell told me today about the XPS 710.
 
I can't imagine it will be cheap. Probably $3-4K for the system with that kind of processor in it.
 
Someone posted something similar to this, where you could customize your dell, but it said in red font "Selecting this option will delay your order" and the delay was about 15 days, which is around the end of the month, when the chips are to be released.
