Dell E248WFPB?

So after hours of haggling I manage to walk away with a Dell E248WFPB for $200 from a guy on craigslist. He says it is less than a year old but I can't even find this model on Dell's website.

I can't find information on the the E248WFPB model however I can with the E248WFP. Anyone know any more info about his monitor? What panel is it? Did I get a good deal?

Also I'm running this card on a BFG 7950GT 256mb video card. I play very casual games such as StarCraft and Counterstrike Condition Zero. I mainly just watch movies. Think my videocard is enough?

No idea man I know the e248wfp is a TN panel that one is surely one too. And yeah I guess you don't need much to play starcraft

If you were referring to the resolution I have no idea but I have an older card and it supports more than 1920x1200 which is what that screen must have.

Well after a bit of searching I manage to find my monitor on dell's website but something is bit odd about it.

It seems though my monitor is a Canadian?

Is there something special about Canadian Dell monitors that I am not aware of?

just out of curiosity, does the serial number start with CN-XXXXXXXX ? I bought the same monitor off of ebay, but had to return it. It had a 2 areas of dead pixels.

I wonder how it ended up in Charlotte, NC
