I got this display about a year ago, and now I'm building an Eyefinity setup, but it seems like Dell isn't selling it anymore? I want to make sure the two new mates for my current one are the same size, dimensions, colors, panel quality, etc, because I've read (from here actually, among other places) that if you don't get exactly the same models, it can be a detraction if you're kind of OCD (like me) about every render looking *exactly* the same (color calibration etc).
Does anyone know if they rebranded it and started selling under a different name? Or is this display considered older technology now, and I should move it to my Kubuntu box and get three all new displays? This is something I would consider, because while I love this thing, I have noticed in some situations, the most recent of which that sticks out in my mind among many, is riding .50 cal in a humvee in Battlefield, if we're driving pretty fast through an urban environment, I have a hard time even seeing any OpFors on rooftops with RPGs laying in wait for us, or even hitting them if I do see them. I think it's because the refresh rate isn't high enough and the resultant blur makes it difficult to pick out shapes at speed. Same thing happens flying a helicopter, or especially a jet (if I'm trying to hit ground targets that is).
Display port probably isn't a big issue, as I can just get an adapter, unless anyone knows a reason why that isn't advisable.
