Can anyone tell me a little more about this LCD?

does anyone have it?

How does it comepare in brightness to the brighter samsungs which have a 270 cd/m2 rather than the dell's 250?

Also, is there any ghosting on this LCD?

And after seeing pictures of it, does that button on the front glow blue or anything? Dell is known for makeing their buttons glow and personally I hate that.
 
We have 2 of them at my work. They are pretty good monitors. We got them for $200 a piece. Which yes, I know, is a very good deal. I have never gamed with them but most new monitors do not have the issue with Ghosting. I dont believe the button glows either.
 
We have several of these monitors at work ($220 when we ordered them with computers). The brightness is great, the contrast is pretty good. It's analog-only (no DVI). It's a 25ms panel, though I haven't noticed any ghosting with any videos I've played. Might be worse with games.

I don't know if this affects all LCDs or not, but I did notice some dithering with certain colors, especially dark blues. I only noticed this with a few desktop wallpapers.

The Dell logo doesn't light up, but the "power" icon on the power button does. Green for on, orange for standby. The power supply is built in to the unit -- no brick! Nice feature.

If you can find a great deal on it, go for it... but for the regular price of $449, there are better LCDs. $450 should buy you a 17" panel with 16ms response, maybe even DVI.
