dell dimension e520 unlock bios

Ok so i was given a Dell Dimension E520...
looking at it..
E6300
2x512mb dimm - yuck
250gb hd
dvd sata burner
dvd sata rom

now when i go into the bois... i cant change anything as it says i need to unlock setup.
Well to do that it wants a password...

is there a way to reset the password on a dell dimension?
 
Reset the CMOS. If it has a password jumper, remove the jumper.
 
They usually have a password jumper on the motherboard.
 
thanks guys.. that did it..

clrpwd jumper off... and power on... i didnt do the power on part.. weird.. i never had one where you did that.. usually unplug power, move jumper from 1-2 to 2-3 for a few seconds...

this one only had pin 1-2...
