Dell Canada SUCKS...still no 2001FP

I can't believe how crappy Dell Canada is....they STILL don't have the 2001FP available yet! I phoned them and their is "no ETA" on when it will be available (if ever).

I'm getting tired of waiting for this monitor, I think I'll save my money and wait until later this year for the nextgen monitors to come out.

Sigh.....

Huh? I bought mine from Dell Canada last NOVEMBER! Before it was even available in US.
I called them up and just placed the order, no fuss or anything at all.
 
Maybe the guy was a retard. I called them up and had them order one in a long time ago. I changed my mind though and got a CRT, but am looking for another 17 inch LCD.
 
I don't understand Dell Inc. I am IT professional here's a comparison:

In the USA, they are fantastic, their products are good, the are cheap, and the service is fast and excellent. Furthermore there are all sorts of perks such as promotions, discounts, free fast shipping, financing and no tax. Its by far the best computer out there.

In Europe, they suck. The products are pricey (for example the 2001FP is twice what it is in the USA). The price discounts are tiny, there a very few promotions, no discounts, expensive and very slow shipping, tax on everything, and the service is just miserable. When I order PCs for my company it can take up to 3 weeks. While HP, IBM and Compaq take a few days.

Another problem is that the salespeople are rude and won't bother with you unless you order a large order. Buying accessories is a nightmare.

If this should reach Micheal Dells ears, you really need to do something.
 
Wow, I must have had a moron/crackhead from Dell Canada on the phone.

The www.dell.ca website is useless too, as a search for the 2001fp monitor on the Canadian page gets no results (whereas on the US page you get tons of hits on it).

After seeing Armpit's post I phoned back Dell Canada. This time I was told it was available for $1549.00 Can. + 25.00 shipping (which buddy offered to ship for free....woopie).

I stand by my record though....Dell Canada sucks..... although at least I know I can order it from Canada officially anyway (although its still alot cheaper to get my brother who lives in the US to buy it for me and ship it up here).
