At work today a reinstallation DVD came in from Dell of Vista Home Premium 32bit. The in closed letter basically said destroy any old copy of the reinstallation dvd you might have. It looks like there's a flaw with the slipstreamed drivers for the nForce 430/410 driver in the default install in which your OS might be corrupted.
Also according to the letter if you haven't already downloaded the 5.10.2600.824 serial ATA (Check in device manager under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers) controller driver get the latest from Dell at http://support.dell.com/support/dow...1&vercnt=1&formatcnt=1&libid=41&fileid=199932
