i recently recieved one of these systems. not a bad unit.

anyways, i'm having issues with my main desktop motherboard. i was thinking i could drop my go-fast goodies into the 9150, and should have the same performance but in a quieter package. i don't know if the PSU is proprietary or not; i do not think it is but i am lazy. i have an antec 550w in my main rig.

to the point, the psu in the dell says 375w. this, powering a 3.2 pentium d, 2 optical, 1 hdd, x600, tv tuner. i would like to install a 955 presler, x1800xt, x-fi, and a second hard drive. will it run or turn everything into Crispy Bits?

It probably won't turn everything into crispy bits but at full tilt it may indeed overload the 12v rail in which case it will msot likely just shutdown.

ok - i figured it would be close anyways.

looks like it doesn't have any PCIe connectors though - so i'm going to have to swap it out anyways. now i just need to figure out if it's proprietary or not.

well, according to dell support, the 9150 appears to have a standard atx 2.0 connector.
