Dell 8100 RamBus Memroy

I have a Dell 8100 that needs ram bus memory. I want to know If I can take the P4 1.5 CPU and install it on a mother board that uses DDR.

As long as you match up the mobo slot with the chip, there shouldn't be any reason that you can't. I'd do a little research on that P4 before jumping into it, however.

I don't think anybody ever made a motherboard with Socket 423 that took DDR. PC133 yes, but not DDR. DDR chipsets didn't come until the Socket 478 days.
