I purchased one of those for a client since it looks very 'cute'. I was amazed how quiet this thing is!

I want a quiet computer without liquid cooling :( (looks at sig)

Yes. The external PSU is fanless.

I have a Shuttle SN45G and the loudest component is the power supply. I ran it off an external PSU just for kicks and I found that it was nearly silent.

I did switch out the ICE fan with a quieter one, though.

I am amazed at how Dell does make there computers so quiet but I guess they have the money to invest into finding the best way to make there computers quiet. Also I did not realize that shuttle made a computer with the psu outside the unit.

i'd rather make my current computer (in sig) quieter. any suggestions

i have the true blue 350watt p.s. and it's supposed to be quiet, i guess its time to replace the HEATSINK! :) :p

Maybe it's just me but I find your sig very difficult to read because of all the CAPS.
