I can NOT get video to display through the card. Anyone have any tips, the card is fine, and while this may sound like a video card issue it is more likely a 400sc issue.

People have no issues with 9700-and up but it seems like there is a problem with the 9500.

I have found one other person with the same problem. I do not understand why a 9500pro would not work.

Anyone have any insight to this?

The card is 100% working (was pulled out my rig that I sold this morning)

I know what the problem is here...

DONT BUY DELLS!! GG.. lol. Someone had to say it, my GOSH. I'm sorry I have personal issues with Dell. They need to be teh pwnt by some other company.

oh, I hate dells too.

just that you really cant beat a deal where you get an 875 chipset mobo, decent power supply, a decent case, celecrap (thats going to be sold), 40gb hd, palm zire 21 etc for 197 after 100 dollar rebate, its really a steal. so after I sell the innards and the zire it costs almost nothing. toss in a p4c / pc3200 ddr / video card and my 160gb hd, it's really a kick ass pc.

I dont exactly have every brand of 9500pro laying around...

does it have onboard video? did you disable it?
check the BIOS, see if there's a "Init AGP first" option somewhere...

no onboard video, in bios it has "Auto" for first video.

the card doesnt work even when i set in bios to AGP first.

though my gf3 ti200 works fine in auto.

What problems are you experiencing?

Is it coming up all grainy and goofy or no picture at all. I have a sapphire 9500pro and it experienced problems due to an incompatibility issue with 400W antec smartpower supplies. Possibly if you have another power supply to test on the system that would be a cure.

Sapphire confirmed this. It works fine with my truepower480.

not at all. I guess I could try another power supply, but then i'd have to power the card with a seperate power supply because the dell one is smaller then my 500w aspire and i just cant toss it in there (dell didnt use a proprietary supply in this one)
