Dell 3007 - Cracking noises from expansion

I picked up a refurb Dell 3007 back in January and have been fairly happy with it. There is one stuck pixel that pretty much takes a test pattern or white screen to see but I have noticed that it regularly makes a loud cracking noise. Loud enough to hear throughout the house. I assume it's tied to heating up and some normal expansion but I have never had a monitor make this much noise. Really I have never noticed it with another monitor. Is this standard for a 30" monitor. It doesn't continuously make the noise but if I'm on it for a while it will happen several times.
 
My 20 inch Dell has started doing this as well. Not sure why. It went 3 years without doing it. But now it does it almost daily.
 
My 50" in the living room makes the same noises. Sometimes for up to 20 minutes after it's been turned off.
