Dell 2408WFP Troubles

I purchased a DELL 2408WFP about 6-8 months ago and it worked perfect, no dead/stuck pixels or anything. I was originally running a Core2 duo system with an ATI 4870 1GB video card. I have a dual display set up with my old 2407WFP. Everything had been working perfectly until I rebuild my PC. I built a new Core i7, but kept the same video card and display setup. Now for some reason the 2048 likes to just go black. It's almost like it's going into power save mode, but the power button stays green. No matter how much I move my mouse, or bang on my keyboard it doesn't wake up. I have to turn the monitor off for 3-5 minutes, then turn it back on. It will stay on for a period of time, then turn itself off again.

I have the newest ATI drivers, and my power settings are set to never turn the monitor off. I've even hooked the monitor up to my second pc running windows server 2008, and I get the same problem. It will even turn itself off if I'm using it... i.e. I set it to monitor 1 and have a game running full screen.

Has anyone else had this problem? if so, how did you fix it? Or does anyone have any suggestions?

If you have a reset button to the monitor, try reset it to default. Also check all your cables are secured on the monitor. If it's doing the same thing, then you're need to take it in to get it fix or replace.
