Dell 2407WFPb 1080 output shaky

I use my 360 through this monitor via component cables and i've noticed that if I set it up at 1080i in the 360 properties that the screen appears to be "vibrating", as if it's shaking. It's still playable but I keep it at 720 anyway because I didn't know if it would damage my monitor.

Does anyone know why my monitor does this? I was under the impression that it was capable of running 1080i.
