My dell LCD is around 3 years old. I looked up my past order for the last 2 years, and my lcd isn't listed so I'm assuming its around 3 years old.
My power button doesn't work anymore, so I jsut leave the monitor on and it goes to sleep 20 min after I'm done working on my pc. I would like to fix the switch. Has anyone cracked open the LCD case and tried soldering on a new switch.
I'm sure Mouser electronics would carry the switch I need to fix it. I'm just a little apprehensive about opening up my lcd as I've never done one before. I'm great with soldering electrical components.
