Dell 2407-HC

As of right now, even if they offer the new HC version, i'd personally stick with my A04 version. It's probably teh most mature version of a 24" on the market, period.
 
We will be seeing a ton of low price and low quality 24" screens this summer/fall,as 24" TN panels with 160/160 or less viewing angles hit the streets en masse. ;)

"High color" iirc...in other words a 92% color gamut. From what I understand..the untrained eye (average gamer, desktop user) probably won't notice the difference but graphics professionals will.
 
The Dell website now lists the 3007 HC to buy. Interestingly, it seems the 2707 is really an HC too since it too has a 92% color gamut even though it isnt labeled as such.

I went online chat with a dell rep and he said to call assessory sales on Monday because he did not "deny" the existance of a 2407 HC model and that it may be already available for sale even though not listed on the website (probably to clear out the 2407 A4 inventories). Will try and call Monday.

Write down your salesman's info if they do have it for sale. I sent a couple emails to the people who were selling the 3007 HCs before those hit the market.

I still have no word from the salespeople I contacted, but it's only 3 days until April so we shall see when things unfold. I must just go for the FP241W version with the new firmware fix that has the HDMI 1:1.
