Dell 2407 - and PS3 and Pc problem

ok I got my Pc connected to 2407 via DVI.

I would like my PS3 on there as well.

I bought a HDMI to DVI cable from the bay.... the pins look fine... but seem to be a push to put into the DELL..... hmmmmm

Anyways I bought a DVI splitter - popped that into the monitor - then connected the PC to test. The monitor just goes into sleep mode. This was without connecting the PS£.

Have tried both ends of the splitter with PC and / or PS3 and get no signal.

what do I need to connect the 2 to the Monitor.

What kind of splitter is this? Is it just a Y cable splitter? or is it a DVI Switch?

A cable splitter will be useless to use, if it is what you are using, I wouldn't be surprised if that is why you're losing signal between (pc/ps3) and the monitor.
