Dell 2407 $609

All,

I currently have a 2005 FPW....

I want to upgrade to a dual-system....

I'd like to get a 2007 FPW and a 2407 FPW, and then let my fiancée use the older 2005 instead of her CRT.

Good plan, bad plan or a better idea as far as quality, performance or something else???

If there are not any suggestions I will go ahead and get the 2407 mentioned previously in this thread.
 
i was just drooling over this one.....i have this really good feeling one will end up on my desk in the next few months

Only problem then is i have to make sure to have enuf video horsepower to run my games at a good resolution on it:p
 
Grr, I hate it when you buy something for so much and the price drops a few weeks later/month(s)!

Bought one this morning at that price, it's funny because I was going to purchase it last night but I figured I'd wait til the morning because I was too lazy LOL...Procrastination FTW!!

If the price drop occurred within the first 21 days of your purchase (and I think is over $50), you can request Dell give you a credit for the difference.

Yep, that's right. I got credited $64 a couple weeks ago and ended up paying $540ish after tax.
 
No, I purchased it a few months ago, but still, it hurts to know it dropped. :((
 
I really really wish I caught the deam from Dell.ca for $600 on the 2407.. Trust me.. I need a new monitor more then anybody. haha.
My 19"CRT stand is broken so it wobbles. im scared its gonna fall off the stand and brake something :S it weighs at least 25-30 lbs..
