I am looking to buy an articulating arm for my 2405 and want a lot of range of motion. I am willing to spend no more than $150. Lower is better.

Here is what I found so far: (Ergotron LX)

This arm only supports up to 20lbs but my monitor specs state 22lbs. Does anyone know if this will work with the 2405. I assume that 22lbs is include the base which should make it below 20lbs.

Maybe even the smaller neo-flex would work?

Thanks for your input.

the ergotron lx will work, ive seen users around here use it for 24" screens but you wont be able to use the clamp safely, instead you'll have to drill a hole in your desk to mount it securely

the neoflex looks lovely, and i used to have one for my 2405FPW once. however, the attachment which fits onto the back of the monitor itself has this strange tightening nut to control the "tilt" of the sceen. With the weight of the 2405FPW it was very difficult, bordering on impossible, to get it to stay level without drooping....you wouldnt be able to reposition the screen at all once set up. just be wary of it, i found it unsuitable for a screen this size

Well I am going to go with the Ergotron LX unless anyone has any ideas for a better one around that $150 dollar price.

I dont think you'll find anything better than the lx at that price point. its very well made and looks very sharp

My girlfriend got me the Ergotron LX for my 2405 FPW 2 days ago for my birthday. I didn't think it would hold but it does. I just had to tighten it up so it wouldn't droop. Get it.
