hey,

I have had the dell monitor for about an year and have this problem shown in the image below from day 1. I called dell tech support and they said nothing is wrong with the monitor. Anything i plug in to the component inputs whether it be xbox or the cable box, i always see this after about 20 minutes. Can anyone tell me if they are also having this problem? and if not how can i get dell to give me a replacement.

I am trying to contact them by email, but i cant find my service tag number. do you know where that might be???

it might be on the box if you still have the box. it might be on a white sticker where your address is.

Is it on the back of the monitor? My Dell 3007 has service tag stick on the back of the monitor.

As for the issue, I think the monitor is normal. The problem is on the signal source. I mean the monitor must be intellegent enough to only mess the video around while displaying the lable perfectly.

Guys thanks for the help.

I couldn't find it on the monitor so I used the part # instead to do tech support through online.

thanks

Update:

Dell shipped out a new monitor for me today and should get it tomorrow.
