Dell 2405 Max refresh rate?

Anyone know the max refresh rate for the 2405? If I run it at a higher than suggested refresh rate can it potentially damage my monitir? Thanks in advance.
 
same as for any other LCD, 60hz :rolleyes: :p It does allow 75hz up to 1024x768 IIRC but 1920x1200 and 1600x1200 are 60hz only, but exceeding max allowed refresh rate wont do anything, the monitor simply will go into standby and will say that it can't run at that refresh :)
 
i see. So if i try and run my monitor at a higher refresh rate through my video card properties, it will go into standby? I tried running the refresh rate at 75hz and it did not go into standby. Confused :confused:
 
Heh, r u running on highest res? :D U aint even supposed to be able to select any other refresh except for 60 - so either ur videocard is fubared or just drivers :D To check, simply open menu on the monitor, it'll show the true res and refresh ;)
