Guys,

I have 3 NIB unopened Dell 2405.

I bought them using the 25% coupon. I just got 3 rma #'s from dell (they make you ship them to Trillium in KY). I am returning them bcos I ordered 4 Dimension 9100 systems (with the 50% off lcd monitor).
Dell price breakdown (with 25% coupon)

Sub-Total $899.25
Shipping Discount -$10.40
Shipping and Handling $2.60
Tax $65.38
State Environment Fee $8.00

Total $975.23

If anyone is interested in buying, pls let me know. I will email you my original invoice from dell. For reference you can chk my feedback on ebay under b6rs4.
 
You could.... go on the "For Sale/Trade" forum, but you might have a hard sell there. If there was an issue, people wouldn't be able to return them to dell since they bought from you?

I don't really need to sell these, I just thought, if it could save someone a few $....great, otherwise I'll ship them back to dell
 
If you want to sell these in FS/FT people are gonna ask for it 300$ and you have to ship first.
 
$300? That's just crazy. I think for a purchase such as this though you'd practically be better off taking it out and testing it. People just don't want dead pixels and so on with no means of exchange. Hell, knowing you're selling one in good shape could be a buy factor. Waiting on the phone to get an exchange until I got a perfect one wasn't exactly fun, well thank god I only had to do it once. If he's talking full price though, like he can still get that back from Dell, yeah it's all moot. Send it back, get your money.

Anyways, I seen them in FS/FT and the asking was 700 and that was gone in like an hour, because the deals haven't been as frequent and growing as some had anticipated. Used things do not go for a quarter of their retail price. C'mon now.

I'm just kidding man, you know some people though, they'll want the lowest price possible and more lol. I paid 900$ :\ , I guess It's alright though. No dead pixels / very minimal backlight bleed. :D

Yeah I just thought he might still have meant the resale value is shit, even if the 300 wasnt meant specifically. But bah he has one, so I was probably just way off. I'm looking to sell mine, so I'm sensitive. :D On a side note, I'm glad people aren't swimming in coupons and the Dell Reps have not gotten any better, if anything, tighter. :D

There's good stuff in there anyways. I don't think in this instance: "Hey I didn't even open the box!" is a selling point.
